A common platform for traditional healers, researchers, academicians, policymakers and conservationists to build a respectful pathway towards recognising Himalayan healing traditions.
The Workshop-cum-National Conference on "Himalayan Healers: Non-Codified Healers — Recognition and Policy" seeks to provide a common platform for traditional healers, researchers, academicians, policymakers, practitioners, conservationists and other stakeholders. The conference will facilitate dialogue and knowledge exchange on the role of traditional healers, medicinal plant resources, indigenous knowledge systems, community healthcare and the need for appropriate recognition and policy support. As part of the event, a three-day, invitation-only Healers' Workshop (no registration fee) will bring together non-codified traditional healers from across the Himalayan Region.
